A Short Story of Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista
Here is a man who has been gifted with the knowledge and understanding of the message of the Holy Scripture. He is the key that will unlock the mysteries hidden for generations in the Holy Bible as they relate to our times. A Filipino, born in 1943, Eraño Martin Evangelista (or as we refer to him as Maestro Evangelista) grew up in Pandacan, a district of the City of Manila, Philippines. To close friends and associates, he seems to be a contradiction. He is a simple, unassuming and ordinary man, yet endowed with a keen insight and a discerning mind, fond of dishing out wit, allegory and humor to lighten tense, serious moments. While his achievement in formal schooling would be modest by most standards, Maestro Evangelista has acquired a consuming interest and aptitude for experimentations related to science and technology that eventually developed into a career as an inventor. (His latest project involves the development of a non-conventional and environmentally friendly energy source. He holds the patent of AERONOX, an internationally certified anti-pollution and fuel saver device for internal combustion engines, that is considered phenomenal and timely by experts in view of its effectiveness relative to the present urgent need for global action to mitigate air pollution.)
Though a former active member of the Bible-believing Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ), a Philippine-based denomination, he has not had much exposure in reading and studying the Holy Bible because unauthorized members are discouraged from doing so.
His initiation into his mission happened unexpectedly in his home in Las Piñas City, a suburb of Metro Manila. On July 16, 1990, while hosting a luncheon for a group of friends that included some foreigners, he was subjected to an experience that would forever change his life. The details can be gleaned from his recollections below:
At about 12:00 noon that fateful day, while his wife was preparing to serve lunch for the guests, Maestro Evangelista withdrew into his bedroom to refresh himself. While inside, a bright light from above suddenly filled the room and visions appeared to him: that of a strong earthquake which was to take place later that day and which was to claim many lives; a war in the Middle East; and a major volcanic eruption that would happen in the Philippines.
During lunch, Maestro Evangelista appeared so perturbed by the vision that a foreign guest, Elmor Sumaraga, took notice and started to ask what was happening; what he could do to help.
Maestro Evangelista then described the vision in straightforward manner, "Well, I saw a vision just now. Today there will be a strong earthquake. Many will die." The visitors could not believe what they heard, and Maestro Evangelista then related the details of the vision.
At about 3:45 P.M., shortly after the guests have left, everything started to shake gently at first then violently after a few seconds. "Hey Daddy, here's the earthquake you predicted!" shouted his son. "Yes. It's a strong one and it will claim many lives," was his reply.
Later that day, radio and TV stations confirmed the earthquake (In Baguio City, north of Manila) and the initial casualty counts. As days went by, news accounts continued to report the widespread destruction wrought by the quake, and the many lives lost just as Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista saw in the vision.
On August 1, 1990, while having lunch with his Kuwaiti friend, Jashim Al-Sherida, at a restaurant in Parañaque City, another suburb of Metro Manila, Maestro Evangelista narrated his vision about the coming war in the Middle East that would involve the invasion of Kuwait. Jashim did not take him seriously, believing that that was impossible at that time. To prove his point, he even invited Maestro Evangelista to visit Kuwait, saying "You know, Brother, it's easier to get inside Paradise than to enter Kuwait."
Kuwait is oil-rich, was not in conflict with any country and strict with foreign visitors. No one would have ever thought that it would be an object of a military invasion. The following day, Iraq attacked and invaded Kuwait and Jashim hurriedly called Maestro Evangelista by phone, "What you said to me has happened. My country was invaded by Iraqi soldiers."
"Yes, and now you yourself cannot even enter Kuwait" was Maestro Evangelista's reply. "What happens next?" His Kuwaiti friend was anxious. "It's going to be a brief war. I have seen it in my vision," Maestro Evangelista appeased his friend.
As it turned out, the war was indeed brief and ended when the United States and other allied forces defeated the Iraqi army in February 1991.
June 1991 was another fateful day for Maestro Evangelista as his vision of a major volcanic eruption became a reality. Mt. Pinatubo, a volcano located in the province of Zambales, Island of Luzon, in northern Philippines, though long dormant for about five hundred years, suddenly erupted with very little forewarning. The eruption was so massive and strong that for several days the atmosphere was hazy with volcanic ash falling for hundreds of kilometers.
This was the turning point of Maestro Evangelista's life. He felt so perplexed and found himself in a big dilemma. He was shocked that the visions shown him all happened in such short span of time. Confused and scared, he prayed for Divine guidance, "Lord God, if You want me to do something, please talk to me, maybe through the Holy Bible. Or else, people might think I've completely lost my mind."
God's answer was clear and unmistakable! The pages of the Holy Bible started to open and specific passages were being shown right before his very own eyes. Through the passages, God was giving Maestro Evangelista the task of revealing to the people of the world His true teachings and most importantly to reveal the Name of God. (His mission and the bases of his mission will become clearer as one reads through this book.)
Maestro Evangelista is not re-writing the Holy Bible nor is he advocating a new religion. He only speaks of God's messages as written by the prophets in the Holy Scripture. God reveals the messages to him at the right time, including the specific verses in the books of Holy Bible to read and the words to say. Maestro Evangelista does not claim any authority to make new ideas and opinions of his own. He believes that the Holy Bible is self-sufficient, and is the sole basis and criterion in clarifying the messages that God wants to communicate to the world.
To the people of the world, Maestro Evangelista makes a fervent appeal that we all open our hearts and minds to the Messages from God presented through this book. We should listen and carefully understand, evaluate the teachings, and see how they may all fit together into one whole grand theme - The Truth.
Everyone is endowed with eyes to see, ears to hear, and intellect to discern what is real from what is not, and to distinguish the truth from the lies. Sadly, these human faculties have been dulled over time, clouded and misled by an unseen sinister force. In our generation, we are fortunate that Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista is here to reveal the True Name of God and His True teachings according to the timing prophesied in the Holy Scripture. With this understanding, we may be able to see our way clearly.
Let us all seek so that we may find the Truth that has eluded humanity for so long - the Truth that will ultimately lead us to the True God. Let us seek so that we may come to know God's true Name and the True Teachings that we should obey. Doing this, we may at last be freed from the Curse that has been cast upon the world - the Curse that has been the reason for the untold sufferings humanity have endured for generations.
At last, may we all find and enjoy the "Blessings" that will only come as a reward for knowing the Truth from His Messenger, and obeying them for the greater Glory of God. Return to Top

The Revelation of the Foreigner as mentioned by King Solomon in: “As for the foreigner who does not belong to your people Israel but has come from a distant land because of your name— for they will hear of your great name and your mighty hand and your outstretched arm—when they come and pray toward this temple, then hear from heaven, your dwelling place. Do whatever the foreigner asks of you, so that all the peoples of the earth may know your name and fear you, as do your own people Israel, and may know that this house I have built bears your Name." I Kings 8:41-43 (NIV)
