The Deception of Satan

The reason why we have been deceived is that we simply never knew the deceiver. For us not to be deceived again, we have to know the deceiver and the manner of deception used. This is exactly what Maestro Evangelista will show us.

How do we identify the Deceiver?

So the LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this,
"Cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals!
You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life.
And I will put enmity between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and hers;
he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel."

In the garden, the serpent successfully deceived Adam and Eve and they were banished from the garden.

The serpent was also punished; “You will crawl on your belly” –this means that if the serpent was to move on its belly as punishment, the serpent must have had legs to move before! What was the serpent before?

Now Maestro Evangelista will reveal the secret identity of the serpent before the time in the garden.

The most important books in the Holy Bible are the books of Genesis and the Revelation. The roof, if it is weak, it's not a good place to live in. Similarly with the religions, they did not give emphasis on the book of Genesis and have barely touched the book of Revelation.

The mystery of the identity of the serpent: if you would ask the religions, no one from among their preachers and scholars know the answer. They would say it is shrouded in mystery.

The serpent was the "great dragon" before the temptation in the garden! It became a serpent when God took away his feet as a punishment. This is the reason why the deceiver was successful in deceiving man throughout the ages, because it changes its appearance. The people never knew the various forms the deceiver takes. With the revelation of Maestro Evangelista, we can now see the different identities which the deceiver had used over the ages and finally reveal its present identity.

In Adam’s time, the deceiver was in the form of the serpent, and when the time came for the deceiver to tempt again, what form or disguise did it use?

The devil said to him, "If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread."

In Jesus time, the deceiver, the serpent took the form of the devil. If the deceiver appeared to Jesus in the form of the serpent, would Jesus still talk to it?

When the devil had finished all this tempting, he left him until an opportune time.

Though the Devil was found out, again the deceiver attempted another, and what form did it use?

Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. "Never, Lord!" he said.

"This shall never happen to you!" Jesus turned and said to Peter,

"Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not

have in mind the things of God, but the things of men."

Jesus found out too late that the deceiver, in the form of Satan, had successfully deceived him by using Peter. Did the deception stop in his time? The deception didn’t stop there.

Before Jesus died, to whom did he transfer the power and authority that he had received from the Devil?

When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

This is the continuation of the deception that started in the garden. After Jesus’ death, the apostles continued the deception by using the power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases and to preach the kingdom of God. Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista asks: which god? When a church had cured you of your sickness, through “pray over” and other rituals, will you go against its teaching? This is the manner in which the apostles continued on with the deception. They promise you the kingdom of God, without telling you the Name of God.

If the religions cannot tell you the Name of God, whose kingdom are they promising to you?

In our time, to whom did the apostles transfer their power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases and to preach the kingdom of God? To the religions! Maestro Evangelista says, you can’t find a church that does not have a teaching that drive out demons and heal the sick and preaching the kingdom of God.

This is the final deception in the world. But what will happen to them in the end?

"was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him." - Who are the angels of Satan? They are the religions! This prophecy is about to happen soon. The religions will be exposed that they do not belong to God. What is the proof? First of all, they don't know the Name of God and they have not obeyed God's commandments. That is why we have been cursed when we followed the religions and had also put our faith in Jesus.
